Engevix is aware that its business success must be based on sound financial, environmental and social performance. It also knows that, in order to achieve consistently good performance, it must work side by side with its partners, understand their needs and demands, and maintain transparent and responsible relations with them.
That is why Engevix was the first Brazilian engineering consulting company to be awarded the triple certification.
Its Integrated Management System (SIG) consists of a set of standards and procedures in the following areas: quality of processes and products (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001) and occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001). The SIG system demonstrates the administration's concern with its actions towards clients, society and the environment, and the employees.
Engevix also engages in actions geared to the community through Instituto Engevix, and promotes culture through grants and incentives. In all of its ventures, Engevix develops social actions to benefit the surrounding communities. In Linhares, state of Espírito Santo, Idelvina Castilho Machado, who is in charge of community relations in the project of the Natural Gas Processing Unit in Cacimbas, was granted the title of honorary citizen of Linhares" for the work she developed in the region.
With these actions, Engevix hopes to contribute for the transformation of the region into a tourist district and an arts and crafts production center, resulting in better life quality in the neighboring communities. Out of the 2500+ Engevix employees in the units at Cacimbas, 42% are from the neighboring municipality of Linhares, 4% from Povoação, 25% are from other municipalities of the state of Espírito Santo and 29% come from out-of-state.
